Living my simple life

It’s raining buckets here so adventures with Oli are out of the question. What to do? Why, make play dough, of course! I love my homemade dough because it smells very yummy — much better than the pre-packaged kind. Here’s my very simple recipe:

*1cup flour
*2 tsp cream of tartar
*1 tsp salt
*blop of oil
*1 cup of water
*2 packets of kool-ade

Mix all ingredients together. It should look like this:

Cook over medium heat for a few minutes until it looks like this:

Cool for a few minutes. Then it’s ready for this:

As it’s Mardi Gras, we used fruit punch flavored kool-ade —- so at least it smells like a hurricane!
