Candyland

Halloween was a big success.

Costumes happened at the last minute. Mojo was an angel and I made her costume to be multi-purpose. It will double as her chemise for next spring’s renaissance fair. DNA was Dr. D. Mented — I made his lab coat which also be handy in his chemistry class this year. I’m sure his teacher will approve of the embroidered name. Oli’s costume was dug out of the dress-up bin — an after-halloween steal from last year purchased for a few dollars on markdown at Target.

We had the neighbors over for chili and beer and the Dad’s took the kids trick-or-treating while the moms rocked on the porch and handed out candy.

Today the kids (and John and me) are all still buzzing from all the sugar. Aaaahhhh! We love halloween!

We weren’t far from you on Halloween, I almost called to stop by but Jess was cranky and hungry, so we went and got lunch and headed home for a nap.
